The Beltree

The Beltree is a 100 acre property, previously home to a historical award winning Semillon vineyard dating back more than half a century. With an old cafe turned into The Beltree Homestead on a section of the property, and now home to The Beltree Wine Country Glamping and Situation Droughtmasters, the property has so much to offer.

Throughout history, Droughtmasters have been bred from the most hardy breeds of cattle to withstand tough times, which is one of the reasons we love this breed so much. Here at Situation Droughtmasters, we believe this is the perfect way to symbolize the tough people we have in rural places in Australia, like where we are placed here in the Hunter Valley. While farmers all around the world are often viewed as strong people, it is important to remember that anyone can struggle with their mental health.

Here at Situation Droughtmasters, we believe in supporting rural mental health by not only raising funds for Beyond Blue, but also by bringing awareness to rural mental health. As you travel through the Hunter Valley, remember that although these people maybe have been bred to be tough like a Droughtmaster, they’re real people with real struggles too.
